SNOWDRIFT is an endless snowboarding game. We designed the app to work without user accounts, advertising, analytics, or access to sensitive device permissions.
SNOWDRIFT stores gameplay preferences and progress locally on your device. This may include your chosen rider name, audio and camera settings, graphics and touch preferences, time-of-day preference, inversion preference, and personal best distance. This information is stored in the app's local storage and is not sent to us as an account record. You can remove it by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
If you play online with other riders, SNOWDRIFT uses PeerJS/WebRTC networking. The game may transmit your chosen rider name, jacket colour, current position, movement, distance, flow state, and leaderboard information so other riders can be displayed in the same mountain.
PeerJS uses a public signaling service to help establish connections. After a connection is established, gameplay data is exchanged through WebRTC connections and may be relayed through the room host. The connection may use temporary peer or session identifiers and ordinary network metadata such as IP addresses. These are used to establish and operate multiplayer connections; SNOWDRIFT does not use them to build a user profile.
SNOWDRIFT does not require an account and does not intentionally collect your real name, email address, contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, health data, financial information, advertising identifier, or payment information. The app contains no advertisements and no analytics SDK.
The multiplayer information described above is shared with participants in the same game room to make real-time multiplayer possible. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
SNOWDRIFT is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, please contact us so we can review the situation.
Local settings remain on the device until they are cleared. Multiplayer data is transient gameplay data used while a room is active; SNOWDRIFT does not maintain a developer-controlled player account database or persistent profile service. Network transmission security depends on the WebRTC and signaling services used by the connection.
We may update this policy when the app's functionality or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
